For our Project Controls team in Boden, Sweden, we are looking for a Field Planner.
In this position you will be responsible for performing Project Control activities and supervising the overall Project Controls effort for a project.
As a Field Planner you will serve as Control Team Leader on medium-sized projects or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team in the Regional Office.
Your main tasks will be:
i. Maintain and update construction progress curves.
ii. Integration of subcontractors L4 construction schedules to L3
iii. Progress and reporting of L3 Construction Schedule
iv. Construction schedule change management
v. Interface with subcontractors – review and discuss look ahead schedules with subcontractors and construction management.
vi. Perform schedule analysis (progress, duration, density, risks, interfaces etc.) on assigned subcontracts
vii. Provide input for weekly/monthly status report
viii. Stand in for Lead Construction Planner during his absence.
iX. Liase with client of any planning & schedule management issues.
Basic Job Requirements
• Bachelor or Master degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Solid experience in Forensic Analysis
• Significant technical knowledge and practical experience with applicable software systems, such as: Primavera P6, SAP, and related Management tools for Cost, Change, and Progress
• Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and verbal
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Must have experience as a Lead Cost or Planner for a large-sized project or a Control Team Lead/Control Team Manager (CTL/CTM) for a medium-sized project
• Industry- specific experience in all facets and phases of a project: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Startup

The Consultant Construction Project Manager role can be summarized to include:
• Set up, chair and minute project site meetings as may be required and, ensuring that the Microsoft team is fully informed
• Prepare and maintain a Project Execution Plan identifying the roles and responsibilities of the project team, the Contractor and specialist sub-contractors and suppliers and seek approval from the DCD CPM.
• Establish the procedure for communication between Microsoft, the consultant team and Contractors and use reasonable endeavors to ensure that this procedure is observed at all times.
• Establish the Change Management Process for the project and manage the process by liaising with the Microsoft team, consultant team and Contractors in clarifying all necessary scope, justification and technical detail. Assist the DCD CPM in the communication of any instructions under the process.
• Liaise with the Microsoft team, consultant team and Contractor to establish all key project processes to support the project’s delivery and monitor these processes reporting and making recommendations to the DCD CPM. Visa mindre
