The role directly reports to the Project Commissioning Manager. The role is to co-ordinate and witness the Commissioning activities on a specific Mission Critical project. Commissioning witnessing ensures that the equipment matches design and performance criteria. The role also requires the ongoing mentoring of Testing Turnover & Commissioning personnel on the project to ensure their continued development.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Primary Roles
• To review and understand project specifications and drawings fully and extract the project specific Turnover requirements.
• Ensure the E&I Turnover protocols are followed.
• Assist development of the commissioning schedule.
• Assist development of the commissioning platforms utilised for commissioning/turnover.
• Comment on L1-L5 commissioning scripts.
• Attend FWT/FAT. Witness testing activities.
• Liaise with all vendors to ensure they are fully aware of our specific requirements and review/approve all proposed Testing & Commissioning RAMS.
• Witness pre-start up checks of systems/equipment.
• Lead tagging and client walkdowns of equipment and systems.
o Co-ordinate with the project QC Lead ensuring the equipment and systems are construction issue free.
• Witness start-up checks of systems/equipment.
o Co-ordinates startup and switching requirements with the COHE team.
• Witness L3 testing of systems/equipment
o Ensure testing complies with design and performance criteria.
• Assist in co-ordination of load bank setup and application.
• Attend L4/L5 testing. Witnessing the testing and ensuring the testing is carried out in line with approved scripts and design/performance criteria.
• Raises commissioning issues during the commissioning process.
• Issues daily/weekly reports to the Cx Manager.
• Validates all paperwork and data received from the vendors and contractors. Uploads to the commissioning portal, contributing to the system turnover.
o Reviews final turn over documents prior to handover.
• Assist client training and handover in line with agreed schedule.

DRI Commissioning Lead is responsible for the preparation, execution and management of the project commissioning activities associated with their discipline and for any discipline interface requirements. The main roles and responsibilities of CSU Discipline Leads are:
Lead the discipline site commissioning team.
Create the weekly discipline work plan
Input to the 30- and 60-day commissioning look ahead plan
Provide discipline progress reports against planned activities.
Highlight any concerns to planned commissioning activities/plans
Develop commissioning systems breakdown and Limits of Safe Handover (LOSH) drawings.
Review vendor documentation and procedures
Review handover documentation/procedures from construction handover to commissioning.
Ensure discipline team resources competency to safely and efficiently pre-commission and commission equipment and systems.
Input to manpower plans necessary to effectively execute the planned scope.
Assist in developing commissioning plans and schedules from the agreed logic and integrate this into the overall schedule.
Lead a team of discipline commissioning technicians so that equipment and systems can be safely handed over.
Create equipment and materials requirements for the planned commissioning activities. Place materials requests, PO numbers and ROS dates.
Liaise with vendor support personnel and operations support personnel where required. Ensure all preservation requirements are implemented and regularly maintained.
Ensures all interface requirements (internal and external) are, from a commissioning perspective, clearly identified.

The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commissioning phase of the project in Sweden. This role involves ensuring that all systems and components of the project are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements. The Commissioning Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the project meets its sustainability goals and operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and schedules.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions between project phases.
Liaise with stakeholders to align commissioning activities with overall project timelines.
Commissioning Execution:
Lead and manage the commissioning team, including subcontractors and third-party specialists.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
Minimum of 20 years of experience in commissioning and project management within the industrial sector, preferably in steel manufacturing or hydrogen related projects.
Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, standards, and best practices.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Fluency in English;

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or commissioning (CCP).
