Key Functions of the EHS Advisor

EHS Advisor Responsibilities
• Reports to EHS Manager, Site Managers/Supervisors and Project Manager.
• Is conversant with the contents of the Kirby safety statement, environment manual, risk assessments, aspects & impacts, legislation and procedures.
• Provides advice, guidance, instruction and training in all EHS matters to management, safety representatives and employees (including where applicable to sub-contractors, suppliers and visitors to sites).
• Carries out internal audits and site inspections in conjunction with Site Management, recommends corrective actions, improvements and document findings.
• Prepares in conjunction with site management team a project specific EHS Plan, induction and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS). These shall be compiled and agreed prior to work commencing and ongoing through lookaheads.
Ensures that the project specific EHS Plan, induction and RAMS are up to date, reviewed periodically and communicated to all relevant persons (including clients, Main Contractor, other contractors, visitors and others who may be affected by that work).
• Visits each new project, sets up the necessary site safety files (Series 500 & 600), registers, abstracts of regulations, posters, SEOR program, etc., and ensures that site establishment complies with the legislation, client regulations and company regulations as a minimum.
• Reviews Contractor Appointments and ensures that correct appointment is carried out and that only competent contractors are used on projects.
• Introduces and implements effective measures aimed at the prevention of incidents at work.
• Reports on incidents and/or dangerous occurrences should they occur to the EHS Manager, Project Manager and Site Managers as required.
• Reports on areas of concern to the relevant party for correction. Persistent and serious areas of concern are to be reported immediately to line management as per (1) above. Retains evidence of communications with relevant parties.
• Carries out incident investigation in conjunction with site management, establishes cause of incident or dangerous occurrence and recommends method for future avoidance.
• Audits the company site safety file, (Series 500 & 600), makes sure that hazards/risks are regularly assessed, that control measures are implemented, that inspections are carried out and that all incidents are reported, investigated and closed out.
• Prepares Monthly KPI Report for their projects, issues monthly return of Site Visit Schedule, SEORs, KPIs, violations to the EHS Manager and the Business Unit Manager. Issues new SDS to EHS Manager.
• Provides training and information to the workforce using appropriate training aids and media as required. Issues records of training to HR to update the training matrix.
• Attends the regional EHS Coordination Meeting.

As Logistics Manager you will be responsible for a number of construction projects
Business Units. The Site Logistics Manager will define and coordinate all available storage areas on
site, both within the building and outside of the building up to the hoarding line. Storage space is to

EHS Manager Responsibilities
• EHS Managers - Reports to the Kirby EHS Manager, Operation Managers and Business Unit Manager.
• Is conversant with the contents of the company safety statement, environment manual, risk assessments, aspects & impacts, legislation and Kirby procedures.
• Provides advice, guidance, instruction and training in all EHS matters to management, safety representatives and employees (including where applicable to sub-contractors, suppliers and visitors to sites).
• Arranges for the implementation of the EHS management system with EHS Advisors for all new and existing projects.
• Reviews Monthly KPI Report for projects, EHS Advisor Site Visit Schedules, SEORs, KPIs, Discipline & Commendation, Site Inspection Reports complaints, incident actions, requests for information and recommends actions.
• Ensures that a project specific EHS Plan including Risk Assessments specific to the work is drawn up and agreed prior to commencement of work.
• Carries out internal audits and periodic site inspections in conjunction with Site Management and site EHS Advisor, recommends commendations, corrective actions and improvements and document findings.
• Ensures that all incidents and dangerous occurrences are reported to the Kirby EHS Manager, Business Unit Manager and Project Manager, as required, without delay.
• Carries out incident investigation in conjunction with site management, establishes cause of incident or dangerous occurrence and recommends method for future avoidance.
• Liaises with Statutory Authority, Main Contractor and Client when required.

In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project as follows:
• Manage the Business Unit revenue and cashflow with forecasted vs. actual monthly reporting and comply with Business commercial governance. Issue the as defined Commercial reports per pre-agreed timelines and dates.

Role Purpose
As Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the engineering activities on a specific construction project. The activities associated with the project will vary and will be agreed with the Project Manager on an ongoing basis. You will co-ordinate the technical design with the onsite installation through to the successful commissioning ensuring that the Kirby Group vision, mission & values are fulfilled.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project as follows:
• Complete electrical design review to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the specifications.
• Validate cable sizing and make recommendations as appropriate.
• Ensure that technical assessments are completed as required and technical issues are resolved without delay.
• Compile and issue electrical technical submittals.
• Manage submittals through the approvals process, track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment and complete the receipt verification process once the equipment is delivered.
• Attend & record regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored & maintained within the overall construction programme.
• Update and record progress on system trackers which are fully aligned with the construction schedule.
• Review the electrical installation with the BIM team to ensure the design is constructible and that there is adequate space for installation and maintenance of all equipment and cabling.
• Liaise with the design team & supply chain to ensure correct operation of the plant on site & successful handover.
• Complete electrical system walk-downs to ensure systems are compliant with specifications and drawings.
• Compile test pack, FTOP’s and O&Ms; and present for approval.
• Manage specialist vendors during the commissioning process to ensure timely completion of their works.
• Undertake client training in line with agreed training plan.

Vi ser mycket utveckling hos våra kunder och söker produktionstekniker till tillverkande industri.
Här kommer du vara i händelsernas centrum. Du ansvarar för det produktionstekniska upplägget på ett antal produktionsavsnitt och kommer ha mycket breda kontaktytor mot produktion, processutveckling, logistik, teknisk beredning och konstruktion.

Dina främsta arbetsuppgifter blir inom:
- Beredning av nya och ändrade artiklar
- Balansering och beläggningsberäkning
- Genomförande av produkt-, förbättrings- och investeringsprojekt
- Ständiga förbättringar inom kvalitet och produktivitet
- Utveckling och förbättring av metoder och tillverknings- och monteringsprocesser

Vi ser gärna att du är civil- eller högskoleingenjör samt har några års relevant arbetslivserfarenhet från tillverkande industri, gärna fordonsindustri. Praktisk erfarenhet från produktion och vana att arbeta i projektform är meriterande, likaså kunskap kring automation.
