During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group’s global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end flow supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations. You will be part of the transformation in our industry, working with new technologies and building the competencies for tomorrow.
In parallel, you will grow your interpersonal skills through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will have the opportunity for several “on-the-job” rotations and experience working on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in training and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

Job Description:
Our team are the forefront in deploying the future for our new product production by e.g. driving research and advance engineering projects for the powertrain. We are looking for a team member, that together with us, will lead the development of manufacturing methods in the E-drive field(Electric drive systems in vehicles). You should be a true believer in sustainability and passionate about the journey towards fossil free drivetrain!
Who are you?
You are a passionate, curious, and self-driven engineer who loves new opportunities. You can move easily between the big picture, down to details and back again. The technology development skills are crucial for success as well as leaderships skills and the ability to create relations with all levels in the organization. You are good at communicating and like to build relationships with different types of people and see the benefits in teamwork, as well as you take your own initiatives and can work on your own when needed.
You have an interest in emerging technologies, digitalization and are curious to explore. You work without prestige, fact-based and it is easy to see situations from different perspectives. We think that you are a good problem solver with the goal of finding improvements and solutions to drive the manufacturing forward. The most important part is you and your mindset. You have a positive and problem-solving oriented mindset, and you are not afraid to try, fail and try again.
You are motivated by constantly developing yourself and your environment. Required knowledge/experience
A MSc in Automation, Production, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English.
Valid work permit for the applied country if not a citizen.
Knowledge from E-drive development or production is desirable
